Ngaio Parr is a Creative Director, currently serving as Group Creative Director of the Brand and Creative team at AWS. Alongside this, she runs an independent studio (founded 2014) creating books and publications, branding and identity, museum and gallery projects, and spaces for clients including The New York Times, Disney, HP, Adobe, and Figma. A devoted generalist, Ngaio enjoys a wide range of creative projects, especially those that are good for the planet, for good people, or a good time.
In addition to her design work, Ngaio publishes a regular newsletter called Some Things. She also wrote The Grief Companion, now in its second printing through Hardie Grant Books. In previous lives, Ngaio was the founder and director of Make Nice, an annual un-conference and online platform for creative women that ran from 2015 to 2018, providing community support and practical advice across Australia and the US. She was also an adjunct professor in design at the University of Technology Sydney.
