Here's some information about Ngaio. If you're still hungry for more
or have a question about her name or her work, you can read some frequently asked questions here.
Ngaio is a designer, illustrator, and art director. She currently lives and works in Sydney, Australia with her husband and their boston terrier Iggy. Ngaio holds a Bachelor of Design from the Queensland College of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Queensland University of Technology, was the Gallery Manager at Milani Gallery, and teaches at the University of Technology Sydney.
Her background in contemporary art and theory has helped develop an open-minded, resourceful and intriguing design and illustration practice. Ngaio utilizes a variety of techniques (from digital to felt-tip pen), discovering the right medium to perfectly support and articulate the concept and/or message of each project. She works with a wide range of creative and talented clients all over the world, with no project too big, or too small.
Ngaio loves connector pens, ice cream (of all kinds), Law & Order (of all kinds) and working hard; and is available for freelance work, commissions, collaborations, and friendly hellos - and you'll find all her contact information available here.
